Description of the organization
Ours is one of the biggest technical public schools in Spain. It’s located 23 km away from Valencia, in the Cheste Educational Complex, 2 km away from Cheste, the nearest village. Our students mainly come from the villages of the area nearby and Valencia, but also from other cities located further away. We’re situated in a campus which offers the possibility of staying in a Hall of Residences during the week, here in the Cheste Educative Complex, from Mondays through Fridays. We even have students that come from different parts of Spain since we have some courses such as the ones in Aeromechanic and Avionic Maintenance, or Vehicle Competition maintenance that can’t be studied in hardly any other public schools in Spain.
Our students´ social background is working-class up to low middle class and there isn’t a significative number of immigrants.
The C.I.P.F.P Cheste is the biggest Vocational Education and Training (VET) Public Integrated Centre depending on the Generalitat Valenciana Education Ministry. That means that it offers a lot of different educational courses such as Occupational Training courses (OVT) and Continuous Vocational Training (CVT) and also Specific Vocational Training courses. Most of them are Advanced Vocational Training related to a specific trade, which are the 11 following:
Agricultural Activities Family/ Physical and Sports activities Family/ Management Branch/ Building and Civil work Family/Electricity and Electronics Family/ Hotel Management and Tourism Family/ Computing Family/ Self-moving vehicle maintenance Family/ Computing and Communication Family/ Health Family /Transport and vehicle maintenance Family.
In all these Superior Level Vocational Training there is a training module in working centres (FCT). That has 380 compulsory hours that must be done in legal workplaces. In this real jobs, the students must carry out the formative practices under the supervision of a teacher's and a company's tutor. If the students don't pass this module, they might not get the Advanced Technician title.
We are a reference of the Vocational and Technical High Education in our area.

How the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results

Apart from the information that appears on the website, our institution uploads videos and photographs of the participants in our social networking websites.
Staff has a show and tell meeting with the rest of companions and students meet their classmates and they explain their experiences there to the rest of the class.
Finally, our institution organises a specific dissemination event at the end of the academic year where participants share their experiences with potential applicants.
