Description of the organization
Valencia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Shipping is a public non-profit organization, created by law on 1886, with 84 workers nowadays.
It is a public body, with democratic structure and operation, supervised by the Regional Government, and with own legal personality and full capacity to act. As a public entity, the Chamber represents nowadays more than 170.500 companies in the province of Valencia.
Valencia CCI’s functions are, among others, providing services and training to SMEs, improving the relationship between companies and administration, promoting the international trade and the competitiveness of SMEs, and encourage innovation and technology transfer to companies.
In the area of training every year more than 9.000 hours of training are given to more than 4.500 students in more than 200 courses.
How the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results
Valencia CCI will include Erasmus + "Softmob" in its regular dissemination activities. The Chamber uses preferably electronic media: Weekly/fortnightly electronic newsletter (Average number of subscribers 18.000)
