Description of the organization
Responding to the growing educational needs of the city of Prato, the "A. Gramsci - J.M. Keynes "was born in 1988 from the merger between the Antonio Gramsci Institute for Surveyors and the Commercial Technical Institute dedicated to the English economist John M. Keynes. In 2007, the institute activated a new high school path divided into the traditional high school and scientific high school courses, to which in 2014 the sport high school was added, maintaining the name "A. Gramsci J.M. Keynes ". Already from its short history it is clear that the G.K. stands out within the Prato area as a dynamic institution, open to change and attentive to territorial needs. The Institute draws on a vast catchment area that goes far beyond the city of Prato; in fact, it also welcomes students from neighboring municipalities in the Florentine and Pistoia areas. The G.K. it is based in a modern building complex, with large and bright spaces.
